Noob Question for GTx460 Cyclone Overclocking..

Thread Starter
HI,

need some help, so i've overclocked the card, at stock voltage, between 820-850core clock , 1630-1700shader, memory clock 1800-200... so basically i've been playing with them a bit... I thnk it stable within that, but when i do OCCT even at the lower ends i get errors when im running the stress test or whtever.... does this mean its not stable? or if its only a few errors i can ignore? cheers

Don't ignore errors, they're the obvious sign of instability.
For 100% stability you'll want no errors at all.

Maybe on a processor.

OP, if it is artifacting at stock, you may want to request an RMA, or bump up the voltages a bit?

well as you mentioned its is on stock voltage try to bump the voltages before assuming its a faulty card..better to be sure it passes a thorough stress test although if you are gaming on it heavily and there are no signs of artifacting or lagging then it somehow rules out that you are somehow stable..
