He already has a laptop. Another $1000 he wasted.
He says he needs it for typing and school work. I thought the other $2000 was for that?

i absolutely hate the COOLER MASTER Storm Sniper. THIS ONE
I dont know why anybody would spend so much money on such a horrible case. My friend has it and its just awful. There are cables everywhere and it is very loud. All i see is plastic waiting to break.
i have this exact case and its not loud at all unless u turn up the fans to max (which u never need to coz the ventilation in this thing is amazing) and its built like a tank! i payed 170AUD for it and it comes with 3 200mm led fans and a 120mm one and dust filters on all vents, show me another case that comes with that much stuff in that price range! and only amateurs would complain about case cables lol, it takes 2 secs to make everything tidy and u have HEAPS of room at the back for cable management. its a great case, cm make very good cases! :-)

Guys you need to calm down. There are some people who have different tastes but the way the OP put it was lacking in information and of course maybe his friends are those people who think Alienwares are the best computers or laptops out there. I have friends who gets so impressed by Alienwares and don't even know YET what a custom built PC would look like. They don't know what is watercooling, they didn't know there is such as custom modding to cases and more.. Sometimes I'm so fed up hanging out with friends sharing things like "Bro you saw the new Alienware its so cool I wish I can buy it and I told my parents to get it". The only thing I can do is ignore them they won't understand much anyway.

Probably the OP's friend is either jealous or he thinks something like the most expensive case is the best but that's not how it is. Any case can turn out good if you can make the best out of it. What's the use of buying some 200$+ case without learning how to do some cable management, sleeving and maintenance.

CoolerMaster has been providing best cases there for the money they still don't have so much cases out there but I believe its affordable and good. It comes down also to what the case can offer. If it has everything you need and you can afford it then its good. New cases these days actually offer almost everything. You can have radiator installed up or two fans and there are holes for pipes and some cable management.

Edit:
I don't mean to say anything against your friends. They probably got different knowledge and ideas so it differs from person to person.

I did - I had to get rid of my ATCS 840 due to taking too much space depth wise as it's close to 25 inches deep NOT counting if one uses the 120mm rear attachment. Just no room for that deep a case.
