Headphone with Mic recommendation please

Thread Starter
Looking for something preferably under $50.00. I will be using for IRacing mainly. Just want a decent sound and mic. From what I have been reading USB ones aren't the best, but I don't want the hassle of unplugging speaker from sound card when I want to use them. If Their are any options let me know. I was seriously thinking about these ones but all the reviews complain how loud they are.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16826193055.
I was also looking at these also. They are USB but looks like you have to plug into the sound card also?http://www.turtlebeach.com/products/...force-x11.aspx

The usb on the turtle beach is for power.

I personally own the TB X41's and love them. I am no headphone fanatic but they sound better than anything else I have ever used and I absolutely LOVE them being wireless.

Plus its nice to easily be able to use them with both my pc and console systems.

I honestly dont know what to advise but I used to but cheap headsets alot and one day decided to buy a set to last a while and I am happy with my purchase. My firends all wanted to borrow mine when I bought em but I refuse to let them leave my side.

I like my X11's, especially for xbox, but they're kind of tight and solid for long gameplay. As far as the sound card, you could use front inputs too. I have to plug into my soundcard, because my front inputs dont work, however, I find that its worth the two minutes of bending rather than using my uncomfortable USB headset (which is what youll find with USB's, as theyre cheap.)

The

is $15 bucks above your budget, but it might be some of the best $15 bucks you'll ever spend in your life over the X11's. They're arguable one of the most comfortable headsets on the market and they have some nice sound for gaming. I can't put into words how satisfied you'll be with these, and the boom mic is loud and clear and unidirectional to help block out background noise. Definitely recommend them.
