Also, I'll adjust the voltage in the BIOS and then when I check it in Windows using their utility it's back at stock voltage?!

Uninstall the crappy software, it does automatically switch the voltage back to stock even if you have it set higher in the BIOS.

Manual mode is where you should be overclocking in the bios, and this board seems to hate 1333 stock clocked ram, at least for me.

And yes I do have it pushed well past 3.4 ghz alebiet with a different chip

Also, two sticks are better then 4 for overclocking purposes...also the core you unlocked could be unstable.

Basically my suggestion would be the following:

Uninstall the windows software
Set the cpu back to just 3 cores
take out two of the memory modules
and then see where you can get via BIOS overclocking

Took your advice and unistalled the T-Series

I tinkered a bit in the BIOS and the only setting that let me actually boot into Windows was a 214 clock (3.4ghz) running at 1.476vcore. I also boosted the NB-CPU voltage by .100 and the NB voltage by .20.. thinking of lowering the NB voltages and seeing if it's stable still? I didn't remove any RAM sticks.

It seems like 3.4ghz is all I can do with this RAM? Every other setting I tried wouldn't let me into windows

You can try downclocking the ram and see if you get any extra stability out of it, and/or try taking out two of the sticks.

You can also try upping the nb-vpu voltage a bit...I have had mine up to + .200 just fine

I was able to downclock the ram a bit and get to 3.6ghz stable on all 4 cores. CPU is at 1.45v and NB is at 1.2v. Temp is about 43C. I could not get higher than 3.6ghz with CPU up to 1.5v, and memory and northbridge clocked way back. I did not go any higher than 1.2v on the NB, though. Maybe I'll play with that a bit more.

I might be able to get to 3.7ghz it sounds like, but it looks like I'll need to crank the voltages a lot more than I'm comfortable with.
