Palit GTX 560ti overclocking(or lack thereof) - Page 2

I'm on 910/1820 on both my evga cards in sli atm, with 1012mv, just waiting for waterblocks so I can see how far to go.

I had the same problem with not having the voltage unlocked in afterburner, then I downloaded the beta version of the newest one (afaik) and it unlocked it for me (Y)

got a crappy overclocking Palit gtx 560 as well. only a 20mhz overclock for me.

for those that may not now palit cards are pre-overclocked already at 900mhz so it's really high already. could've been better if I had a card that oc's to 1ghz though

Ok :/ well max OC on stock voltage for me was 930 core, 2165 mem. What bums me out is even on maxed out voltage on msi afterburner 1.15v, i couldn't hit 1ghz core... Also, when i test my OC with furmark, for some reason the temps jump up like 1 every second until they get to around 86c, however, i've just played 2 hrs of black ops and the max temp was 62c, so temps can't be the issue..1ghz core, on max voltage BSOD while i was playing black ops though..

do the 560's have voltage adjustment?

with my 465 unlocked to a 470 i could not adjust the voltage in the latest version of after burner. I tried the version released before that and I have perfect voltage control.

try the previous version of afterburner.

Yeah its really all about luck I have two palit 560 Ti 2GB in sli both cores @ 1 GHZ and shader @ 2GHZ with Memory @ 2.2 GHZ both are very stable with stock volts running heaven for 24 hrs.It did take me forever to find a second card that could match my first one I went through 8 returns to find it.Luckily I had a buddy who is a store manager at Fry's in Las Vegas so he helped me with the returns. As far as noise at full load they only hit 60% fans at most and not too loud.

Are you using the latest MSI Afterburner BETA? The older versions don't support 560 over-volting.
definitely use the beta version for voltage unlock.
also, my cards stock voltage was 1.0v (1000mv) which only did 900 core stable.
.95v (950mv) is the lowest voltage u can put on the card and my cards only do 825 core stable at that voltage lol
im currently at 950/2100 @ 1.037v (1037mv) stable so i think ur card is just fine...
=D

JUST NOTICED DEAD POST REVIVED LOL...
