HAF X case mod plan. Thoughts/suggestions?

K so my inspiration for the work im preparing to do with my case comes from the MDPC Project 29 CM Stacker found Here.

What i'm planning to do is the cut a new window in my HAF X to remove the fan section coz it's uglly as hell and put in a new acrylic window. I want to keep the shape of the bump out coz it's sort of one of the things that gives me case some of it's look. I outlined what I'm thinking of with the only side picture i could find of my case.

For the motherboard I think I will be going with a Gigabyte P67-UD7. I'm wondering though if i can paint over some of the gold accents white without impacting performance or voiding warranty?

Ram wise I'm thinking of getting the DDR3 1600 Corsair Dominator's and painting over the corsair logo (or pulling the sticker off if that's all it is?). Any thoughts on this ram? Is it actually good ram? I know alot say its overrated but is there anything wrong w/ it? The exact kit im looking at is here.

Next I will be taking an MSI GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozr 2 and removing the shround and fan blades. The shroud I want to paint matte black but keep the twin frozr ii logo white. The fan blades I will also be painting white.

For case fans I plan on getting 3 200mm NZXT 800rpm fan's. 2 to go in the top, 1 up front. The fans in question are black framed w/ white blades found here. The rear exhaust fan will also be a 1300rpm NZXT fan w/ white blades found here.

For coolling I am planning to use the XSPC Rasa 750 360mm kit with 7/16" ID primochill tubing in white. I plan to mount the radiator on the inside top of my case and use 3 AP-15 Gentle Typhoon's w/ the blades painted white along the radiator pushing up, with the 2 200m's in the top bezel area pulling upwards as exhaust as well.

I would also like to get one of these sleeved led kit's to run around the edges of my case for when i wanna light this baby up.

Finally I am wanting to sleeve my PSU cables but alas I don't own a modular psu yet and I will be purchasing one before I sleeve anything. Even then I have zero clues how to even sleeve so i'd probably need some help w/ it.

Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions? (are those all the same things lol?)

That side fan really helps GPUs and if you cant use that HAF is not a case you should have gotten. With a descent LED fan it looks good.

I don't want to put LED fans in there though and the GPU I am getting has the best stock cooling option on it of almost any gpu so it really doesn't need the help of my side fan. Especially since most cases don't even have the side fan and do just fine. And I don't hardly want led's at all hence no led fans mentioned. The only led's I want are the NZXT sleeved set because the intensity can be turned up or down or all the way off which is perfect for me.
