I just made a website for my business that is in a fairly saturated market. I am looking to make the website be at the top of the list on the search engines for people in my area. How is this normally done?

by paying the search engines of course. its called preferential placement. its how google makes money.

good book to read on other ways to help other than having to just pay

comes with a gift card to google too
