Which brand 45degree rotary housing W/Barb for XSPC WB

Thread Starter
What brand do you recommend for a 45 degree WB application? One thread I found claims the Bitspower (rotatory) may leak if bumped or stressed from the tubing. I'm not running compression fittings and wish to stay with barbs at this point. Now I'm saying 45 degree after reading the 90 degree fittings cause to much restriction.

I've been considering either the Dangerden rotary housing http://www.dangerden.com/store/45-de...g-housing.html which they claim has a higher flow rate, any truth in that?

or the Frozencpu Bitspower 45 degree rotary http://www.frozencpu.com/products/79...l=g30c101s1305

I'm hoping to get some confirmation on this possible leak issue with the Bitspower from Frozen as I have other items I could order there that Dangerden doesn't stock and save a little on the shipping.

Just looking to possibly shorten/relax the tubing a bit and clean up my first setup in pic. Including replacing the Primochill tubing which is already discolored, as well as lapping the WB as it's not even close to being flat. Yes the system was flushed with 1 gallon of distilled water and vinegar. Don't understand why it's discolored so soon. Is Primochill not the best or what? Should the flushing mixture have been heated some what?

I think most of these fittings comes from same factory, just with different brand name stamped on it

no problems with my bitspower rotaries... i think the leaking issue was with earlier revisions that are now fixed

I would recommend:

Black 45º Rotary With 1/2" ID Barbs

They also have nickel plated versions with either : ID 1/2" barbs or ID 3/8" barbs

I am using some of the 30º Rotary fittings and love them.
