First Mac, need some HELP!

Thread Starter
Purchased a brand new Macbook Air 13 inch.
2 core 1.86 ghz
2GB ram
128GB SSD
GTS 330m

First couple hours after i booted it up, tried OS X, disliked it.
So i whipped out the drive and did a clean install of win 7, got the latest drivers through bootcamp.
Here's where the problem begins.
After a few restarts, when i turn on the mac, it would power on to a white screen for about 20 seconds and then start booting windows.
I've tried resetting the Pram and all that good stuff, but none seem to work.

can you guys please give me some advices before i put OS X back on?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Reinstall OSX.

Install Boot Camp.

Install 7.

This will automatically provide you with the proper configurations and drivers for 7 to work on your Mac. Sure you lose 10GB (and the hour install time), but it will function much better.

Hope it helps.

hold down the alt/option button on startup

Quote:
To set the default operating system in Mac OS X:
1In Mac OS X, choose Apple () > System Preferences.
2Click Startup Disk.
3Select the startup disk with the operating system you want to use by default.
4If you want to start up that operating system now, click Restart.

13 To set the default operating system in Windows:
1In Windows, click the Boot Camp system tray item and choose Boot Camp Control Panel.
2Select the startup disk with the operating system you want to use by default.
3If you want to start up that operating system now, click Restart.
To restart in Mac OS X using the Boot Camp system tray item:
mIn Windows, choose “Restart in Mac OS X” from the Boot Camp system tray item. Restarting in Mac OS X using the Boot Camp system tray item also sets the default operating system to Mac OS X.

Selecting an Operating System During Startup
You can select which operating system to use during startup by holding down the Option key. This displays icons for all available startup disks, and lets you override the default setting for the startup disk in Startup Disk preferences (Mac OS X) or the Boot Camp control panel (Windows) without changing that setting.
or did you delete the mac partition?

actually i misread your question. do what the guy above me said then you select the OS through this method to select the boot drive

i completely formatted the hard drive and did a clean install of windows 7. So that OS X partition is long gone..

TBH not that i dont like OS X, im just too used to windows i guess, considering i spent the past 15 years of my life dealing with windows.
It's just like when you visit the same grocery store for 15 years and you just dont wanna go to another one..
