Should I sell my laptop for an iPod Touch? - Page 2

A netbook is nothing like a notebook. Now, as for which one you should get within your price range.. this is perfect. One of the better CPUs, has Nvidia's ION, and plenty of space.

$369.99 Asus 1015PN

netbooks will do anything a 'notebook' can do outside of running a CAD program or 1080p blu ray.. word, ppt, excel several browsers, anti virus software, streaming radio, 720p Bluray movies. the new gen of Atom CPUs will be able to run 1080p blu ray. most of the time, laptops are over powered for what people use them for. there is no need for a $600-800 laptop when all you do is check email, surf the web or listen to music. a netbook can do all of these things, at the same time.

im tired of people saying netbooks are slow or not useful. my netbook has been my main computer for almost a year now. i only use my desktop if i want to play a game.

This is a bit of a step up in terms of price, but why not an iPad? If all you're doing is browsing the web and you won't be typing up documents or anything, the iPad should suit you well.

Iphone Maybe..

I'd get a netbook. I got one for college it is awsome. I use it for homework on the train in the cafeteria in cars. I use it for work and even for play.

And it only cost about $250! Weights little more then 3lbs and the battery last 8 hours out of the box.
that was me! so hyped about the ipod touch! so i donwload tons of apps, then realized it killed too much battery and my ipod was dead when i wanted to listen to music so now its all music and a couple of utility apps.
