So I haven't used my ps3 at all in 2 years or so. I just got a new LCD tv today so I figured I'd buy some new games and hook it up. The problem is every game I play is very blurry and has bad graphics, so I would assume its playing in 480p. I tryed changing the 720p/1080i/1080p settings around and still nothing. Restarted the display settings and still nothing. I tryed hooking it up to my PC monitor that displays full 1080p incase maybe it was a problem with my TV, and I had the same bad 480p quality

When I go to my save files, where you go to a game and it gives you that slight preview of it- that shows in 1080p. but as soon as I go in game it goes back to 480p. It use to work fine when I used to play, however now it just won't work for some reason. I'm using a full 1080p HDMI cable too.
Games I tested were Killzone 3, Split/Second, Test Drive Unlimited 2. All of which looked like ps2 graphics.
Anyone know how I could possibly fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
