And yes, ASUS for the win. Never had a single bad one. Evga on the other hand...

I've always bought Asus/Abit for over a decade and agree with your assesment. But this time around you may want to study the forums, things don't look rosey to me

Don't have a source actually, just assuming it from ASUS official news. I just hope that they're already on a f'kin boat or something leading to the shops

So what's the realistic timeframe? Mid march?
Shipment have already started, boats from Asia are slow... Goods dont leave factories then suddenly appear at retail instantly

Third week in March seems realistic.

GOOOOOOD NEWS PEEPS!
Italian online retailer (ePrice.it) has it, shipping on March 18th!
We're still a bit far, but... THEY'RE DEFINITELY COMING GUYS!

PS: Oh, sry, I was talking about the ASUS Maximus IV, but Gigabyte Killer/Assassin ones are available too, around March 25.

I thought MSI was already shipping B3 boards?

Wait just a little longer! Bulldozer will be here sooner than later, I promise!

I also only buy ASUS boards. After my fiasco with two Gigabyte boards (the first one I got had heatsinks detached, the second one I got was terribly unstable), I've pretty much given up on anyone else but ASUS. I replaced that garbage Gigabyte board with the board I have now (Rampage Formula) and it hasn't shown me a single problem since the day I bought it.

I'd wait... if Bulldozer provides even an ounce of competition it'll force intel to drop prices

Now is probably a bad time to upgrade

They're Here... and now I am torn. I have a wish list to upgrade my current system with, but can't make myself pull the trigger... argh.

Does anyone know if the MSI Mobo is x8/x8 or x16/x4 when SLI or Crossfired?

I know what you mean... *SIGH* I bet we see Asus at the table by the end of the week though. I can't see them letting their competitors having a whole week go by when there's Mobo hungry consumers out there.

As far as the x8/x8 goes, this may help: http://us.msi.com/index.php?func=pro...1&maincat_no=1

Although it doesn't really say, does it...
