Thread Starter
Hey guys, i wanna start off by saying im sorry i know there are probably a million of these threads.
I have never built a rig before but think i know enough to pull it off. I am wanting to go with the new sandy bridge stuff. I have a coupe of parts already picked out but would like some help knowing what i should do and if there are any "tips" i should know about.

Case-Haf x 942
Mobo- Asus Maximus iv Extreme
CPU- i2600k
GPU- pretty set on Geforce GTX570
Ram-? Ripjaw or Corsair Dominator?
Cooling?
PSU-? 1000w?

Thanks for any help

Mobo - Look in my sig and read my sticky to be sure on what you want and what you can live without
GPU - I would get the GTX 480. It's faster clock-per-clock and the GTX 570 dies when you overclock it.
RAM - The best deal right now is the G.Skill 8GB at Newegg.

Cooling - RASA Kit (search the forums) H70, or one of the top Air coolers.
PSU - Silverstone 1000w (like in my specs) - Can't get better, as far as I'm concerned.
