Thread Starter
hello to everyone!

i would just like to ask if theres something wrong with my setup
mobo: GA-880GM-UD2H rev1.4
proc: Athlon II x2 245

When I set system voltage control to auto, vcore in bios is set to normal with 1.425v
but why does HWmonitor show 1.5vcore??

Easy tune is not the most accurate.I would just go by what your bios tells you. Also your v-core seems high the specs for your cpu are 0.85v to 1.40v,i would set your voltage manually, your get better temps and longer processor life.

set v-core to more arond 1.3v

don't push low-end athlons too hard. it might catch fire.

Download cpu-z

hwmonitor runs off of the same coding as cpu-z, so i dont think that will fix it.

how you can see...he have CPU-Z and showing 1.504V.....however the programs isn't so accurate.....I'm with the same CPU and it has diference between BIOS and monitoring programs...but it's around ±0.015V....also my notmal coreV in BIOS is 1.400V....if you runing this CPU at stock speed....put the voltage at....maybe 1.350V...if you are going to overclock it....my recommend is 1.475V (safe is 1.550V, but...)....I'm runing it at 3712 MHz with 1.450V
