Easy way to check

Run Crysis at very High, High and Medium..

If you're CPU limited then you won't see a big difference in your frame rates between them.

If you do get a speed bump then it's driver related.

Athlon II's suck for crossfire/SLI, simple as that. I think that's the 1 time where l3 cache REALLY matters. Toss your 965 in OC'd to whatever you can get and you should see a difference.

Though at 4Ghz you should be seeing a difference in Crysis, which an Athlon II is plenty for.
