World at War was released on November 11th, 2008.
Never purchased the title and had no issues with it because I didn't follow it. I don't know if I would have released it on that day myself, but like I said previously, there may have been people upset with that.
I don't get what your point is, what does anything really have to do with a day of remembrance starting with the end of WWI have to do with a terrorist attack 10 years ago? I asked for people to focus on this particular release.
Rage itself doesn't have anything to do with Terrorism, I don't think anyways.
11/11 is not just to remember the end of ww1, it is to remember and honor all that have fallen, given their life to the freedom of this country in war, it is also to remember and honor all that have served. it can be said, in the US that our service men are often marginalize and disrespected, as people confuse duty with politics, and take it out on the ones who choose to serve.
i'm honestly not understanding why you are wanting to get all bent out of shape of a release date that is 2 days after the event you are wanting to get everyone bent out of shape for.
the only reason it seems more disrespectful to you now, is because you, i and 90% of this forum are living witness with a living memory, yes when 9/11 is brought up in convo or the news, it still gets an emotional response from me, forcing me to partially to relive the emotions i had on that day.
is releasing a game 2 days after the 10th year anniversary disrespectful? no, cause the world has to move on, we can't be paralyzed by grief and despair.
