Alright, theres a shell shocker on newegg for a Sapphire HD 5870 2GB. I wanted to know how much of a performance increase will I get when I swap out my EVGA GTX 470 SC'd if I get if any at all?

http://www.newegg.com/Special/ShellS...888-_-02242011
Here is the card.

Looks like I will be keeping my GTX 470. Thanks Reps will be distributed

are you planning to use multi monitor setup?
If no, keep your 470

Yeah, I'm just gonna stick with my 470 and SLI it. Not much of a fan of eyefinity anyway. just was wondering if its a big improvement.

Yeah that wouldnt be much of an upgrade from what you are running now, but that is still one good find for that 5870

A 5870 does better in DX9 and DX10 but the 470 owns it in DX11. Overclocking will only better that stompage.

About 5% to 10% (at most). You should just stick with the 470.
