Upgrade from captivate?

I have a free upgrade from the captivate to an Inspire. I'm not sure I want to take it though. LCD and Small battery, but then it's got that sexy frame and a much larger dev support. Slightly faster hardware too?

Thoughts? I'd probably trade it in for the SGS2 in about 5 months anyway. Which one might keep the resale value?

Inspire.

Even though I've wanted a Captivate for some time. But I really waited to see what was announced at CES etc before I purchased. Rather than have last years tech, I'd rather have this years.

That's the thing. Inspire is last years tech as well (probably why I can swing a free upgrade). I'm not even sure it's at all faster than the SGS hardware wise.

Wait for iphone 5, buy it. Sell it to iphone junkies on ebay or craigslist and profit.

Then pick any new phone you want, buy it outright, and you'll probably still have money left over.

I say jump on it, aftermarket batteries with more power are easily bought on the net and frankly dev support should outweigh all the others put together (Thats the only reason I haven't sold my desire yet).

I definitely plan to buy/sell one, but no reason to wait for it. Besides, that'll probably be what funds my dual core phone.

That's what I'm thinking. If only there was an AT&T Nexus S

I'd keep the Captivate. The hardware on the captivate is better, other than the lesser amount of ram. Plus, after going AMOLED, I can never go back

This is just my 2 cents XP
