Every hyper was fantastic. I had crappy binned ones that still did 1600 6-6-6 on my i3. Probably could have done cl5 with the 2000cl7 set.

PI rated 8-10-8 using MNH-E? Not possible... they'd either use BBSE or a high binned PSC.

I ended up going for the patriot http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220489
Mainly because of the higher bin and the fact that budget really wasn't an issue. So when they get here tomorrow im going to have some fun seeing these running at 1600mhz and 1800mhz def post some results aswell.

NOT BBSE man....they are usually 1600 6-7-6 or 2000 8-9-8.

PSC like the tRAS to be usually 2 clocks higher than CL, unlike BBSE, which in my experience, dont respond too well to loosened tRAS like they do to CL

Took me a couple days. But here is a rough down-clock that i was able to achieve. When i tried to go to a 5CL the comp wouldn't post even at 1200MHz. So im thinking that my processor wont let me go any lower. wheres the bulldozers at?! haha

im not overly impressed by those numbers. my mem puts up same numbers within margin of error

Yeah i'm not entirely impressed with these numbers either. I'm thinking once i have a processor that can handle ram speeds over 1800MHz these baby's will really show.

I was able however to get into CL5 at up to 1450MHz by using the black slots of my mobo. It wouldn't budge past that though. It doesn't seem like the voltage makes a whole lot of difference either from 1.65-1.75 there is literally no difference in stability.

I used to have a set of the PI sticks. They did somewhere around 2700 7-11-8 and 1600 5-7-6. Last I heard they were some weird Hynix IC.
