Need some new games..

Thread Starter
Im starting to get tired of playing the same games over and over again.
My PC Games:
COD4
Star-Craft 2
Battle Field 2142
& Team Fortress 2

The problem with these games especially TF2 is that i can expect what is going to happen. I was wondering what games are worth getting now? I wouldn't mind playing some older games but it has to be a good game. As you can see from my list i prefer 1st person shooters.
Would it be worth buying Bad Company 2?I really enjoyed the first one on PS3. I can get a great deal for a sealed BC2 for about $15. Is it worth it?

You should definetly go for BF BC2. After that, you'll maybe would like to consider the "Vietnam" expansion.

Is something like Doom (any #, really) out of the question? I was a bit younger when I played it, but it still scared the crap out of me and provided some excellent challenges/visuals.

I've just started playing half life 2 which is pretty good. I installed the cinematic mod, so it looks "modern"

Any of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games would probably suit you. Nothing predictable about those games. Especially if you're playing on the hardest setting. And all kinds of kickass mods are floating around free for the taking.

Try playing Batman AA. It's a really fun single player game. BFBC2 is also a great game, I've poured many an hour into it.

Fallout 3/ New Vegas
They are probably a bit slow for a pure FPS fan but they are great games.
