Thread Starter
its been an extremely long time since i've done this, and don't remember all the steps.

basically i want to use my sig rig, to produce a ppc version of slackware.

the book i have over this, or i thought it covered it, only covers how to compile for windows or mac using linux, still pretty sure its for the x86, cause it didn't mention anything about architecture.

so any help would be appreciated if anyone knows how to do this, as building any packages on the mac would be extremely slow (its 700mhz) and yes it is a powerpc.

i will continue to search around google, altering my search terms to see if i can find a how-to on this subject.

figured it out what i was doing wrong, didn't have a cross compiled toolchain for the alternate architecture, building those now, once that is done, will test out a few things first to see if i was successful, if not i'm surrending to cross-compiling
