Pump flow and pressure

I understand that different components in a WC system will change both of these variables, but what would be the min/max in a perfect situation?

I have read that around 1 GPM is essential for proper cooling, but it's really the pressure I am concerned with.

i think the perfect situation may be more defined by good cooling or load temps rather than min/max pressure and flow

but the relation between pressure (P) and flow (Q) is expressed in the P/Q Curves and that may help as will all the information at Skinnee Labs under the pulldown "Pumps"

when you understand P/Q curves, it is easier to evaluate a pump

1 GPM is the minimum flow a loop should have.

And according to the restriction and therefore PSI your blocks and radiators will require you should get a proper pump that can provide that pressur.
