Sub $50 Intel CPU Cooler? - Page 3

You need a new case, that one seems pretty small.

I got the CM 212+ yesterday. :] Easy installation, and dropped the idle temp of the CPU to 25c.

Yeah you should really measure your case to see if any full-size tower coolers will fit. You'll need at least 159mm width from the processor to the side panel.

Pretty sure the H50 will fit in pretty much any case you like, as long as that's a 120mm fan slot in the back.
Almost Classy

It doesn't matter if your PSU is top mounted. The heatsink doesn't protrude from the boundaries of your motherboard. I ran the 212+ in a case (a small, crappy mid tower) with a top mounted PSU.

The 212+ will be fine. Plus, it's way within budget.

I will second the Coolermaster Hyper 212, Currently I have one installed on my pc and I'm running at 3.6ghz with temps only just hitting 52 Celsius, it leaves plenty of overclocking headroom and is pretty much silent with the included fan. Also you can install another fan in push/pull to drop the temps a further 1-2 Celsius.
