Right here we go...
GPU-Z has reported that my GPU (ATI Radeon HD 5470) is DDR2 but on the AMD website my GPU cannot exist as there is no correct GPU with DDR2 on there. i have a M880G chipset with built in ATi mobility Radeon HD 4250. This is 320 Mb but im sure catalyst control thing said it was hyperMemory not DDR2 as it displayed. and if i have Mob Radeon HD 5470 and that other one shouldn't Crossfire be enabled? Also Riva Tuner Cannot Overclock or display Info on my GPU(s)
BTW anyone now what program to use to overclock ATI mobility Radeon HD 5470?

What now?

Your 5470 isn't built for games for one, you can probably overclock it a little but not much, and I don't think it's actually sold as a dedicated gaming GPU. That would explain the lack of info surrounding it.

The 5470 is a standalone card, yes, but it's on par with onboard video, frankly. The large amount of RAM may help it play some games, but primarily it's a browsing and video playback card. However, it's pretty weak in that regard, too. I consider it more along the lines of "I needed a signal to my monitor." A 5670 walks all over it, and is itself about on par with a 9800GT from 2-3 years ago *but uses less power*.
I personally would not bother trying to overclock it. If you want more power, buy something better.

That is a comparison statement. By themselves, not ALL laptops suck for gaming. When compared to desktops...sure they suck. However, I've played plenty of new games on good laptops in the past, without issue. Is it as good as a PC? Of course not, but I'd rather take an "adequate" gaming laptop to a LAN most days instead of lugging 100 pounds of equipment.
