In my experiences, I chose blue LEDs because basically it would make your bright white Phantom look like an overstressed nightlight lol

CLEAN! I love the build. That is by far one of my favorite cases. So much space for cable management and customization.

so i finally got my stuff to do some watercooling. at the moment i just got some stuff to cool my cpu but eventually (2-3 weeks) i will get some GPU blocks aswell and rads.

this is my first ever water cooling loop so bare with me here if i make lots of mistakes

so my parts are so far are.

Phobya Balancer 250 nickel
magicool slim 360 rad measurements 396x120x30
Laing DDC 1T pump
Phobya Plexi pumptop
Heat killer rev 3.0
Alphacool HF 13mm (1/2 inch) fittings Fat Boy
MX-4 Thermal paste
Masterkleer PVC white 15.9mm OD 12.7mm ID

So here are som pics of first day getting everything going.

DAY 1.

how my computer looked at start

Here is my new Stuff

Aquatuning are PRO the even sent me complementary gummi bears!

Old cooler out!

Seeing what modifications needed to be done to get 360 in at the top so this is just a dry fit. and to my biggest surprise the rad actually fit without any modding at all! i can even still use the top 5 1/4 bay for my cd drive!!! every thread i read earlier says "u need to mod to get 360 rad to fit" but aha i proved em wrong!

Heatkiller 3.0 with some nice fittings! Note that i baught these fittinggs cuse they were cheap. next mont or when i order gpu and 1 more rad i will get some angeld fittgs and they wil be compression. compression was just too expensive for me at the time (poor man here donate your your nickels here)

Pump without plexi top

Pump with plexi top and fittings

Doing a very very rough fit with hoses just too see some lenght that i will be using not that it will no have those nasty kinks and very short line between res and pump. just did this dry fit so i can take everything out and clean it and test it 1 time before i leak test it fitted in the computer aswell. i had to route my hoses at like that at back of case beacuse my videocard s heat pipes get really hot and dont want that to be an issue. but the good thing is i can shorten them later when i get new rad and GPU block

a pick of waterblock with hoses

here are fans take apart for cleaning and painting. AP-15 1850rpm

Cleaned and ready for masking and paint! wohoo!

Sorry that the uppdates have been on hold. had to work alot this week and havent gotten a chance to work on my computer.
Here is some uppdates from day 2-3

Flushing rad with vinegar and distilled water. had to make my own funnel.

Went to the hardware stor today and picked up 400 grit sandpaper, masking tape and some white paint for the fans and the pump!

used the sandpaper to make some surface for the paint to stick on so it wouldnt just flake off. masked the fans and pump where i didnt want to get paint

closeup of 1 painted fan

all 3 fans painted and mounted on rad! actually happy with the results

got the res holder i place and tried to see if i could get the resevoir height right!

So here is final fitting of tubes, res and pump! take note to that hoses are alot shorter now and proper length but when i have the time and money it will be alot nice when i ad angeld fittings and GPU block!

does white pump look good?

Pump close-up

Heat Killer 3.0

Here is a photo of what is holding the rad up!

MX-4 FTW!

Nice looking rad up there!

Finally done!! leak testing, i did this over the night and guesss what!? no leaks!

Please leave some comments and thaught to improve my build!

very nice indeed! i love the new cases like you have to allow you to shift all the cables behind, looks like you've put some time into that..! good work, can't fault it!

i really like the look of it, i wish I'd got one now that had a case that i could hide all the cables in, i think they look awesome, I've just took the plunge today and removed the last IDE (GOSH!) drive from it and ordered me self some 15 cm SATA cables to get as much of mine out the way i can.

I'll maybe post a pic or two some time when i get them and get them cleaned up, one day they might put the sata and the power connectors laterally along the ends of the boards so you can hide them even further.

Looks good though and I'll keep checking back see how you get on, love the water cooler....!

Looking verry cool, but those hoses are way to long and not so tidy to be honest

Fix that, and more cable management and its a winner !(8 pins cpu behind the moboplate and thru the 8pin cpu hole to the mobo
