Mid tower for internal water

Thread Starter
For my next build I want to put internal water in a mid tower. I'm most likely going to get the swiftech or xpsc 240 kit for the build.

I want to find a case that can support this with the least amount of modification required. Two cases I have been eyeing are the Antec 902 and the Lian Li Armorsuit. How hard would it be hard to mount a radiator in the top or front of these cases?

I'm open to other cases that would accomidate this setup better. Price range is $200 max.

I had a Original LANBOY from Antec with CPU loop that was 100% internal

It can be done if you do it right and manage everything well

CM 690 II advance would be the best choice in my opinion. Put the RX240 at the bottom space and if you need more cooling, buy a RS240 and attach it at the top.

You could go with a Corsair 650D which has two slots on top for a radiator which will fit your RS240 radiator and costs ~$180

I like that 650D.. Looks real sleek and was designed with WC in mind. And its got a window to seal the deal. Are there any other mid towers similar to that and the CM 690 II advance that I should consider before I purchase? I like the fact they both have spots already prepared for watercooling unlike my original choices that could have been a hassle.

Looks like a 240 would fit in the top of LIAN LI PC-P50WB.

My first choice would be the 650D, most likely. Otherwise, for budget's sake, the CM692 cannot be beat for what it offers. I think the 600T is also a good choice too.

It shouldn't be an issue with the kits you have in mind, but the 690II could be a bit limited in rad selection. Space is tight up top when using thicker rads. The XSPC RS shouldn't pose any issues, but thicker rads might. I'm not sure about the 650D, but with your budget, that's what I would choose. It has superior build quality to the 690II and looks much better.

How hard would it be to put a radiator up top where those fans are?
