The upgrade to a GTX460 will most likely yield better and noticeable performance. The only downside is that the 460 does only 2-way SLI, while your GTX275 will do 3 way.

Pros to upgrading to a 460:
More graphical horsepower
DX11
Lower power consumption
Less heat

Cons:
You'll have to unload the 275 on someone first.

Dont bother.

I went from a 4870 (a slower card than a 275) to a 460, and there isn't really much of a difference in performance, no more than 4fps or so in most games, and some are even worse (just cause 2 surprised me here. i swear it runs slower, and it artifacts like the ps3 version.)

If there is nothing wrong with your 275, definitely keep it. The only reason I got the 460 was because the 4870 was dying. The gtx460 isn't as much of an improvement over the older cards as people make it out to be.

You can still buy brand new BFG GTX275's at Microcenter. Not sure why someone would. There are some id10t's out there that might pay $100 for your cand and then you can get a 460 768 for not much more.
