Razer Lycosa? - Page 2

I've had my Lycosa for two years and it's been reliable, if nothing else. It's worked perfectly fine for the entire duration of my ownership.

The rubber coating on the keys can be a hit-or-miss depending on you, but the coating has stayed completely intact on my own 'board.

Echoing the advice of the other posters, the Lycosa might be a choice for you if you like typing on low profile, laptop style keyboards. It is a decent keyboard, but at the price that I bought it at (and from what I understand it sells for today), in my opinion you're better off buying a low-end mechanical keyboard, which shouldn't cost very much more.

It's a nice board. I've had mine for years, though at the price I got it at it wasn't particularly worth it. However, it looks sick.

Personal experience: My first Lycosa worked fine for 4 months, but a few keys went dead and I RMA'd. Right now my Lycosa will stop accepting input from random keys, forcing me to physically unplug the keyboard. The media panel is hit and miss, but serves its purpose enough.

I wouldn't pay more than $25. Honestly, I'd either get a cheaper but more reliable keyboard that has a gaming matrix, or put a lot of money down on a nice mechanical keyboard with NKRO.

I have a Lycosa, I'm returning it, I'm completely dissatisfied and would not purchase one again.

My thread on my opinions of it shouldnt be too deep into this forum section.

Eh, everyone's experiences with the Lycosa have been hit and miss. Out of the billion sold, there's bound to be people who get the crappy batches. For example, a large proportion of Lycosa's USB port doesn't actually function.

Mine's been good apart from the USB. But in all honesty, look for another keyboard. There's a lot of new stuff coming out, no point getting old tech unless you want it for looks.

Had mine for a couple weeks and love it! Though I'm going to have to sell it on eBay soon due to school text books, along with my Razer Naga!
