Hello ,

Can anyone explain to me what this details mean?

Cas Latency: 9
Voltage: 1.5V
Multi-channel Kit: Dual Channel Kit
Timing: 9-10-9-2

http://www.overclock.net/faqs/26706-...s-dummies.html

That should have all of the info needed to explain the timings and CAS Latency.

The voltage is the voltage required to run the sticks at the advertised speeds.

Dual Channel Kit information:

Hope this helps

CAS – Column Address Strobe

You’ll also see CAS referred to as CAS Latency, CAS Delay, or CL. CAS controls the timing delay (in clock cycles) before the RAM starts a read command after receiving it. CAS timings are usually 2, 2.5, or 3 for DDR and can be higher for DDR2. CAS latency has more affect on your system performance than any other RAM setting. Since this is the number of cycles the CAS needs to find the correct address of the data that it is looking for. That is why your system will run a little faster when the data can be fetched in 2 cycles rather than 2.5 or 3.

So if the Cas Latency: 9 is not good? if its lower than its good?

Also i didnt get what are there numbers : Timing: 9-10-9-28 , what it means?

Well with that timings you're lacking to a latency for sure. By the way every parameter in this numbers should be lower depending which motherboard do you use...

btw now with DDR3, 9 are normally like CAS6 with DDR2 and CAS2.5/3 with DDR400... I can't tell you more because I just tell the main things that I understand.

the timing i wrote earlier are just for example , i read in newegg.com a lot of memories but i i'm not sure which one is good.. there are some with CAS 6 but the latest timing is 24 whihc is worse no? so which one to choose?

Obviously, a 7-7-7-21 are better than a memory who has 24 in the last. I am not so good to explain you can ask someone out there I tried to help you instead.
