Be bold and get an SSD for it!
Surprisingly, it increases performance and load times quite a bit!

Right now i need space more than speed. 750GB will give me like a solid 35 games on my HDD, assuming games are like 20GB each

whoops sorry had the page open from earlier but I saved a few on mine and they go from about 7gb or so to 25 or so typically for some of the newer games like gt5

PS3 is a very entertaining console..congrats on the acquisition.. the only problem is the online is lackluster imo...I despise the xbox 360 but if your a big fan of online play then that would have been the system to get...however, PSN isn't so bad, it's just not as easy to get friends together..Killzone 3 is amazing...it actually looks like a pc game

Yeah, I'm picking up GT5 for sure. I remember playing GT3 A-Spec back in the day, struggling to get my licenses.. that being said, it was one of the greatest driving sims available for the PS2, and i'm sure GT5 will live up to it

I checked out some reviews of killzone 1 and 2 and i'm not really a fan of it.. i'll try it out tho, it looks like it's a highly anticipated game

If you get GT5 be sure to check out the B-spec mode. In B-spec, you train AI drivers. You can start 'remote races' with your friend's AI B-spec drivers. But the crazy part is that you can start remote races through a PC browser or a smartphone over 3G!

To host remote races the ps3 has to be in stand by mode. But your friends can host races with your AI drivers without your ps3 having to be on. Either way your AI drivers get XP and credit; credit you can use to buy cars or parts to use in A-spec, B-spec or online.

I actually just switched to KMeaw's CFW, so far everything looks good!

thanks! yeah, i'll check out B-spec mode too, sounds awseome!

I might go for a 500GB HDD instead actually. a 750GB HDD costs about $90, and i found a 640GB HDD on sale for $60, and I'm pretty sure those would be more than enough for my needs

I also got NFS: Hot Pursuit, which btw is awesome. I'm not really a fan of NFS games but this one looks like a good one! Apart from that, i picked up a few classics (Blitz the League II and Red Dead Redemption).

Thanks for all the support guys!
