And why I dont want the ones you guys suggested is because at EVERY SINGLE REVIEW I watch they're complaining "ITS A JET PLANE", the 3 slot 6970 are said to be quiet!

Anyway, try watercooling it if you're concerned with the sound. Or, get a 570/580 sli. I don't know the 6970s, but my 570 is pretty much silent.

Waste. Of. Money. An Ares is an over-zealous drama queen Two 6970's for AMD's side, two 570's for NVIDIA's side. Reason I state 6970's and not unlocked 6950's is not ALL are able to unlock, and you might get a bricked card. AND, if your worried about noise and you have the budget and space left over, get two of these:

http://www.arctic.ac/en/p/cooling/vg...us.html?c=2182

Noise and heat problems dissipated (so long as you have space between each card). If you don't have space, I'm sure you could look into H20, or create a custom fan profile for idle/gaming, you don't need it to sound like a leaf blower to keep it within safe operating temps.

Great world we live in, getting a lesson for stating an opinion. I know we're over the Ares, if I didn't know that, I would have rambled on for more then one whole sentence.

Wait for the 6990/GTX 590 then.

EDIT: Also the 6970's are 2 per customer.
Well since you dont mind throwing 700 dollars out the door, throw it in the mail box and send it to me for some new GPUs.

Not even, I don't see why he refered a 1200w for Xfire setup. You at most will only need 750/800w max.

Even my current setup with 2x580 eat up 800w and I have cathrodes or UV Lightning in my case. Even still I'm not using most of even when I plan* to get my RASA kit to water cool it.

No. But I was thinking if you were wasting that much money on a single card, you should waste even more on a very expensive PSU.
