If no1 else agrees then you should probably ignore my advice.
i appreciate the criticism. thats why i made this post, to get a better understanding of the pro's and cons of my system choices.

Meanwhile...i will wait for bulldozer to see how it performs, then i will decide bulldozer or 2500k-2600k.
My original plans were asus P8P67 Pro and a 2500k.

Well you have 2 options get the mobo you chose, which is great cheap board for OC'ing, and down the road in a year or 2 upgrade.
Or you can go semi expensive (approx $180) and get one with 8+1 vrms, and USB3, SATA3, and preferably 16x/16x SLi/Crossfire. So that a year or 2 from now if you decide you will get some SSD's and peripherals you won't have to run out and buy a whole new computer.
Being that your waiting on BD the cheap option is probably better.

How long do you plan on using this rig before your planned up?

Because if you're really feeling pocket penny pinchy, you can always grab a 555 for about $50 less (or if you have a microcenter nearby you can get one + a cheapo but usable mobo for less than the cost of a 955), and take the chance on unlocking.

I'm a sucker for those NZXT phantom cases, they really are probably one of my favorite lookers, so could I recommend that you go with a more matching PSU?

Like the Hale90? It looks awesome with a white phantom, is an awesome power supply, all modular to keep your case from getting cluttered up, what more could you want?
