I don't want a Mac with a 6750. That's only a little under a 5850. I still think gaming on laptops shouldn't happen, if I'm going to game it's going to be on my $1700 rig.

I love the idea of being able to game on a laptop. And seriously.. more options and choices are always a good thing in the tech world. If companies thought like you, we'd have some pretty boring laptops.

To OP, I would suggest waiting another month or so and see all the new Sandy Bridge offerings first. Or pickup an Envy. They have a slot loading drive too.

I can def. wait another month, I have survived about 2 weeks now without my laptop and it is def. not as hard as I thought it would be, especially with all of the computers on campus.

Alot of people are suggesting that if you want to go with the higher end 15", wait until it is available as a refurb from Apple.
