I'm self aware of what they do, But i have been scammed on amazon and ended up not being returned anything for an entire year almost had to keep pressing it was quite ridiculous.

I have never had trouble with anything being shipped by newegg and if i needed it returned i have called and they have never given me any trouble with that either.

I agree. People also have to remember Amazon and Newegg are different. Newegg specializes in electronics, more specifically computer components. It’s much harder to repackage a mobo and resell it than it is something like an iPod touch or DVD player. Newegg has to test these parts because some people lie or dont know what they are doing and I am sure it’s rather time consuming hence the restocking fee.

If you call they will waive the fee if the item was defective.

Oh and to the original poster. You’re better off getting a refund MSI makes crapy video cards. IMO

They gave me a refund since the gtx 470 isn't sold anymore.. They changed it right after product arrived from replacement to refund and its all worked out now..

Ask for an advanced RMA, not cross shipping.
