You're having a 570 OC Edition with a 480 stock cooler? Am I missing something here?

Also, more info.

Are you sure its a 570 and not a 480 or similar? I'd return it if I were you. No 570 comes with a 480 cooler. Return!

my temps were quite high at load with my GTX570 OC (MSI version)

spotted this thread

checked my cooler ... (didn't know what a 570 cooler looked like, but bought a 570 for the Vapor-chamber cooler !!)

and yes mine has a GTX480 cooler on it too ! - well it looksl ike one anyway - big heatpipes out of the top ...

rather annoyed if I'm honest - only reason I bought this over a 480 was for the quieter cooler !

I didn't understand a word of what you just said.

From what I can gather you got a 570 with a 480 cooler?!
You can get into anything other than the BIOS.
You have a 700W Xclio PSU <--- I found your problem.

Toonshorty I'm not OP - but only when I found this thread I thought I'd check mine

and it "looks" superficial wise anyway like a 480 cooler I have to admit - see my pics
