hats off to Scan for changing the picture - thats good of them and I think very honest of them too - they probably wouldn't have known either unless they'd opened up one of the boxes and looked for themselves

I can confirm thats exactly what the card looks like - note it does say 570 on it

I have requested a RMA which they've accepted - and I'm to send the card back

but I'm in a bit 2 minds whether its worth the faff - after all the card is cheap - and to be honest other than it being very annoying design choice of MSIs the cooler isn't that loud or that bad - just felt like I didn't get what I should have got - I'll have a think tonight

The cooler's are exactly the same aren't they? One just has a grill design on the plastic?

no- they're not the same - different fan (noisier) - completely different type of heatsink - it uses a traditional style + heatpipes, vs a Vapor-cooler on 570/580

the "grill design" on the plastic ... is a metal grill not plastic !! its part of the metal block itself
