Don't mix Wii with Hello Kitty please. It deserves a bit more of respect. After all, it was the console that changed the way gaming is conceived.

How can you not be outraged that these aren't going to be in the vanilla BF3? It's too damn early for Disc Locked Content

Perceived you mean?

And yes, the Wii is definitely great. Now we have to put up with motion control shovelware until the fad dies out.

Negative ghost rider, that would be the Original Playstation.

As for the Limited Edition vs. Standard Edition. Quit crying. They are bonus maps that they never even had to create. If you're too cheap to spend the extra money you have zero room to complain. That's your problem, not anyone else's.

I will Pre-order both a hardcopy (for the box yo!) and a digital version. STEAM! GET ON IT!

DLC has nothing to do with mod tools.

Fallout is one seriously modded game, and it had tons of DLC and they all sold well.

are you really ignorant enough to think that devs just have mod tools laying around the office ready to be distributed. They have detailed why it would be hard to get mod tools out. If you arent willing to see the reasons and actually understand then keep on complaining for nothing.

This is EA marketing. they will have release day content cut from the game just like they did in mass effect, dragon age, and some others. Its part of their attempt to gain pre orders.

That's part of the point. The other is instead of releasing the tools as an act of goodwill, they would rather milk some money from you instead...

And regarding Fallout 3, it only has 5 packs, not tons :/.

And another thing. The reason those packs sold well is due to the LACK OF modding on consoles. So if you had it on console, you were stuck with just DLC...

So you're mad at a privately owned, for-profit entity attempting to make money by offering promotional content ... for free that otherwise would be available for purchase... I don't see what EA is doing wrong.
Do you feel EA and Dice somehow owe you something for playing their game?
Frostbite 2.0 is a privately owned intellectual property. If Dice wants to release mod tools for it, that costs them time and money to deploy those tools. They have no financial obligation to the modding community whatsoever.
