Try Rift. It's an incredibly fun game, it came out yesterday. You will have tons of people to quest with and group with.

I played WoW for about 4 years. Now I hate it. Nobody to play with unless your 85 then its just doing the same **** over and over again.

Played WoW since release all the way through the first tier of Cataclysm raiding. It is too much of a chore to even think about playing that game now. That being said, I made the switch to Rift, and have loved every second of it so far.

For all the people that shared that opinion, it's all about self control. If not WoW than another game, or form of activity would give you the same feeling.

WoW and Rift both seem like the game to play. From what I've seen WoW has the most complete system in a game if you don't mind the outdated graphics. Rift is a newcomer that most are excited about. However the fantasy like elements is something I'm not interested in. Maybe you share that opinion. EvE is a great looking and amazingly imerse game. It's definitely something good to play. If you want a game you want to enjoy for years to come then that would be it. DC online is slated to be one of the better PvP game. If you're into that scene and pvp it would be something to try.

Finally I want to suggest age of conan. I'm a huge fan of a previous version of the game. In the future I have a feeling it will be even better with the adjusted grind levels and new ruleset scratch server coming into effect soon. In my say so it's the most beautiful MMO available. Case in point what I posted earlier of new graphic update:

http://www.overclock.net/pc-games/95...conan-mmo.html

If you're a fan of swining axes with fatalities, and not a fan of fairy dust and magical orcs, AoC is where it's at.

I love wow. Is truly an amazing mmo. But I am playing rift right now and so far is a beautiful game. Graphics are amazing when maxed out. The lighting is just awesome. The game play is alot like wow and at times it makes you feel more like you are in an mmo when you have 200 other people fighting an invasion. It is demanding tho. I need to get a 580 to max it out. Btw. Mmos are awesome.

But no MMO on the planet rivals my all-time favorite and the one I played for 5 years. FFXI. Unfortunately, it's quite dated now, and although they've taken many, many steps to shift it away from the huge grind-fest it was, the changes simply can't bring me back to it. The community in that game (at least on my server) was unbeatable anywhere (and I've played a dozen different MMOs.)
Yes! I loved FFXI, I like mmos for the community, and ffxi's community is the best.
