i can grab it for 1219 with no tax's in i will be using it for school but its not going to be mobile per se i just can't stand using the school's machines. either way i have a outlet around me nearly 90% of the time, so would you guys say its worth grabing?
it also has a second hd spot which i would be throwing a ssd into.

not bad, haven't been a big fan of Dell's in the past 5-6 years, although the XPS line is usually a better build quality than the other crap they put out. Definitely go with a different AV like MSE.

i avoided most of the lines sticking mostly to the business class that they offered before, but i ran into someone that had the first version of this laptop and it is pretty much on par with my old dell vostro 1500 from 5+ some odd years ago, and that basically took me throwing it into the stairs to only kill the backlight so, i'm pretty confident in its quality.

this model is a bit up on the price because i threw a higher video card in it normal is would be 1099, the lowest model of this series is 899 but thats running a dual core with a 6 cell battery, plus theres also the canadian funny money factor.
