Max OC/temps and whatnot for a 4650 >_>

So, I have this crappy low profile HD 4650:
http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_I...dcX&templete=2
I currently have it from 600/800 all the way to 727/1134@1.15V, max temp is 59 C at 79% fan speed from occt shader level 2.

The most demanding game that I'll play is Just Cause 2. I get errors after awhile at shader level 8, but I've heard of cards @ stock throwing errors on that setting and that it's kindof overkill. I don't think that anything else will stress my card that much, so it's cool to ignore, right? And, if I'm wrong, worst case, i get a tiny artifact for a frame or two?

Anyway, I used to have the memory at 1040 mhz (although gpuz would report it as 3.25 mhz less for some reason) since taking it any further would cause my second monitor to flicker. I just "upgraded" from 11.2 to 10.10e, and now i can take it higher O.O the OCCT memtest is disabled for me, though. Is the normal gpu one good enough for testing memory? And how high do you think i could take it, temp and freq. wise?

GPUs, in general, have a high thermal limit, usually about 100c. I personally like to keep that number below 75c at all times.

Does that card have memory and VRM cooling?

This isn't really a gaming card, though, and it's low profile :-/

oh, shoot, you're right. it does not; it just has that heatsink and i applied AS5 to it.

Setting it to almost 1200 mhz still had no errors thrown, but after awhile, tons of horizontal lines went across some of my programs (GPU-z and OCCT) and then it crashed. Is that from overheating or just setting it too high?
