yes vcore is on on auto...
in bios it says 1.40

easy tune says 1.47
cpu id says 1.472

ok, your above stock vcore. if you have the vcore on auto, everytime you up the multiplier its raising the vcore. stock is 1.35 and max is 1.55. you should really change the vcore in the bios to keep it stable. and keep in mind that your motherboard is not designed to take that much ocing. oh sorry...i didnt see you had aftermarket cooling on it.

sooo...if i set it at 1.4 manually, it will stay a 1.4??
also, no matter where i set the multiplier, the voltages stay the same...at least they read the same..
does that matter?

are you seeing this in the bios or something like cpuz,hwmonitor?

My 955 is running 1.392, but that is .025V extra.
1.472 sounds too high for stock.

bios says

auto : 1.4

vcoreA: 1.470 (this is in easytune6)

cpu-id says core voltage at 1.472V

it never changes though, unless i lower it in bios, and i NEVER raise it...

Well, for all i know, stock is wherever my board set it when i first turned it on, lol. Sorry.

I have my 955BE set at 3.8Ghz on 1.36v thats only .1v higher than stock and going to push it further this weekend.
