Vega's Quad-SLI 3GB GTX580 sub-zero liquid cooled build - Page 24

thats a relief

I was thinking, while waiting for the blocks I would use the EK HF universal on the main gpu and ensure high air flow to the vrm plate, looks like it should work.

I have a couple of spare ones

what do you think ?

I am going to wait for the full blocks myself. Kinda sucks though that the Ek water blocks are taking so long. It seems EK set aside working on this block in order to get the 6990/590 blocks out for those crappy cards. I guess I can see them doing that for financial reasons as they will sell more of those blocks as the dual GPU cards virtually require water blocks.

Blowing up super low resolutions to a large size on a wall is anything but impressive.

That setup above is using 1/5th the resolution I am. Clarity in computer gaming is key! 3x 2560x1600 projector setups would be impressive. But it would also cost $50k+.

I'll leave that option open after I see how this current MB cooling works under sub-zero. The good thing about the Dragon Skin is it is easy to work with. Al you need as an X-Acto razor to cut away and trim the Dragon Skin. In the meantime I have to work on getting some parallel resistors set up on the thermistor sensor in order to get the compressor to cycle at the temps I want.
If you can find a big ol horse needle somewhere they will work for dragon skin, just get the medium or slow cure so you have time to work with it. Takes some pressure to squeeze it through the syringe but great for getting into tight spots like between the ram slots.
Gonna do this myself again next time, last time I got lazy & just poured away & ended up not taping off a ram slot well enough. Coated some of the pins inside & turned x58a-ud7 into a dual channel board.

That's exactly what i was thinking and wondering what would be the highest resolution you could get from your set up on single projector (it's about the size of triple 30'') and F..k the bezels
