I've been noticing that my temps were unusually high, and when I opened up Afterburner, I noticed that my GPU was fully clocked, even on the desktop. I started closing programs and processes to see if any of them was affecting the GPU, and it turns out that Digbsy is preventing my gpu from downclocking. If I close it, I get the normal 51MHz, but with Digsby open, it goes all the way up to 875.

I rather like Digsby, for the most part, and I have turn off all the spam and that "research" option in the preferences. I don't like relying on FB chat and Gchat because flash+firefox = death.

Does anyone have an idea what I can do to prevent this? I'm on 266.58.
Looks like I'm going back to Pidgin, hope they improved since a few years ago.
