And lolwut @ that VRAM stuff, your RAM will aid? Sure bro, keep fighting the good fight!

So from what you guys are saying the dual-pcb is better because of the volt controller. Thing is AFAIK they never released a water block or 3rd party cooler for the dual pcb, only the co-op/single one. So how are you supposed to push that card proper?

Single PCB or Sandwich ...would that matter or is it all equally SLI´able

I couldn't SLI a dual PCB with a single co-op version. Wouldn't let me.

But two of the same (co-op) worked.

Dual PCB + CO-OP SLI works but the Dual PCB needs to be the top one.
I have borrowed 580´s from a friend now.
But when he takes them back I will use my MSI 295 CO-OP and Asus CO-OP both on 740/1540/1240 on EK Copper waterblocks.

The used Asus CO-OP cost my 100€ by that I saved enough money be ready for Kepler SLI:) I can´t wait 28nm SLI omg^^

Hmm, I hope it works for you. Didn't for me. i had a watercooled dual pcb in the primary slot, and the coop air cooled as secondary. Was recognized as a different card, same name but no quad-sli button in the menu, which did show up when I had 2 co-op. I even set the freq's the same. Afterburner recognized them differently too, with separate controls for each card.

Saw my name come up in this thread! I will happily do some benching if you guys would like.

The MS and Scaling problems that quad sli used to have are a non issue now. If the game scales it will use the gpus! It isnt scaling 400% but its probably around 350% or a little less. I usually use 3 gpus for GFX and an extra for physx.

I already went for 295 Quad to save for Kepler instead of buying 590:)
And I am daaamn happy!!

Vantage:44.000 points
Cards overclocked to 740/1540/1240
Both on water
Not scaling problems whatsoever!!
No Microstuttering now nothing just plain power:)
Even exceeds the GTX 590´s points in vantage:D

Vantage is a benchmark:)
And I think it is a valid source to determine gaming performance.
My Quad SLI GTX 295 exceed the GTX 590´s Vantage score.
I am unsure though if that is also possible in real gaming experience.
The 590 has more Vram that is for sure..so a AA and AF advantage is certain.
Still considering only FPS at 1920x1280 my Quad SLI setup should run along just fine:D

And I intentionally got another cheap 295 for Quad SLI to be able to save money for Kepler:)

Due to massive advertisement and PR people tend to think GTX 590 and co are the Emperors of all GPU´s^^
But in reality every good chip regardless of the generation can still punch some holse:)
