Yeah its hitting this stupid wall so u cant tighen it like i said in the op dont use this res with tehe fittings i mentioned, they work on everything eslse it seems ;P except on the res, so itsmkinda res fault too. The stupid circle wall is pissing me off

yea, they could flat that thing totaly, without that little step. that is true. but its first time i hear that some1 got a leak from those reservoirs with ek fittings. when you said that your fitting dont fit, first thing that came to my mind was older ek fittings they will not design product that will not work with other parts that are made by them, not after that failure with those fittings

Ordered this one.. lets hope it works

Here is the picture.. the one up there obviously can't be screwed to the max so it leaks from the sides, while the one down there fits perfectly fine like on every other part in my PC... because its FLAT /sigh EK



Here you can see it fits on everything because its flat of course



Maybe I am pissed because I had to wait 2 weeks for a new mobo and now I have to get a new reservoir T_T

nah. its not your problem the new fittings work fine. like i said you were unlucky to get older version (i wonder how that thing was still somewhere where they were removed from retail lol) those newer fittings work fine

this is up to you what you will do you can flat that little step. should help, but this will void the warranty.

Or dumping unneeded heat into your loop?
Either way, It is teh fail.

Beczuse i hate the air cooler for the ram.. Too noisy and it gets pretty hot at 2000mhz without atny cooler, got 3 rads so not a big deal
