Ive got a 500gb Seagate ST3500413AS and im thinking of getting another one and running them in raid 0, but i don't know which one to get to be sure that they work. My local PC store has Seagate ST3500413AS's for sale, would they work together or should i get something else? using the onboard controller

If tehy have ST3500413AS, unless I read something wrong it's the same HDD, which is perfect. It's not really necessary to be identical, but it should have the same capacity, brand and cache size for RAID 0 or 1.

I meant to say that i have a ST3500320AS and they have ST3500413AS. the ST3500413AS seems to have 16mb cache and the one i have has 32mb cache. My local store also has a WD 500gb 32mb cache drive but it costs ~20 euros more for some reason.

E: also found a WD CAVIAR GREEN 500GB 3.5" SATA2 IP 32MB WD5000AADS thats only 37 euros. would it work together with a Seagate ST3500320AS?

Sorry for double posting, but i need a quick answer.. I have a Seagate ST3500320AS and it has 32mb cache, Should i get a Seagate ST3500413AS that has 16mb cache or a WD CAVIAR GREEN 32MB WD5000AADS? Would any of these work in raid 0 with the drive I have?
