thanks

Unless you are running SLI 580s or Have a need for another 16x slot over what the Pro offers, you are not really going to notice any performance gain.

Maybe a few % in benchmark numbers.

If your only running the single 570 in the top slot, you should already be at 16x on that slot.

If you went SLI, 16x/16x really isnt much of a difference compared to 8x/8x. On older 775/1156 boards the difference between the two configurations was like 2-3%

Are you mostly a gamer? Are you a serious benchmarker and concerned about high benchmark scores?

If you're concerned about the pci-e bandwidth while using SLI, check out this article about SLI pci-e bandwidth Also, take some time to read ths... GTX 580 Tri-SLI Review.

Hopefully this will give you some idea if you need a NF200 mobo.

Is a nice mb if you need to run 4 gpus. You can run SLI at 16*16 or 8*8*8*8. Is a good oc too if you get the latest bios. I just returned mine a few weeks ago due the cold boot problems and bios problems with my SSD.

You had forgotten about SLI @ 16x+8x+8x

no reason for NF200 unless you want to run 3way sli, you need a 2600x1600 resolution monitor to need 16x per card in two way SLI.

accualy this mobo is failure... asus should not use the p67 chipset. if you will go for the 4 sata or sas controllers, how on earth you will be able to display something on your screen not saying that its bad board (someone on xs is having fun with it, and its going to be quite good fun ) but this is realy huge "-" for workstation mobo anyway, if OP want to put that thing to gaming rig and not use more then two gpus, then it will be waste of money. better will be to go with rog or just simply ud4/p8p67 pro.

the nf200 chip.. i dunno why asus didnt put on it the plx chip. cooler, faster, also no 4 way sli here. strange choices.

Thanks sin ..that's about the size of it..SLI is probably as far i'm willing to go
yes i do play a lot 1080X1920 and 2600x1600 make a lot of sense, was just wondering ...your tests show nf200 doing very well against native dual 570's@16
