I don't see why not. I mean the first one did. What I am looking for is anisotrophic filtering. Whats the point in making the setting take place in this big open world island if when you look at something a couple of feet away from you it looks like crap. I mean just look at any far away mountain in the game......
The first Crysis didn't have anisotropy because it had Parallax enabled, which essentially makes textures appear more 3D. I don't think anisotropy can be enabled at the same time on DX9. DX10 was also added at the least minute during development of Crysis, so perhaps they forgot to enable it or something.

I think this is a pretty dumb question, this game is famous for its graphical superiority and you ask if they are going to give AA options? Of course the game will have AA.

The answer is obvious to me:

Crytek says they respect the PC gamer. Therefore, there will be AA enabled.
Games that come out to the PC without AA supported are the crapy ports from consoles, like GTA IV

Crapy PC games that are ports usually don't let you bind your mouse keys, or not even your keyboard keys, they won't have options of you to tweak most of the settings, they will not be optimized to run well on any computer, etc, etc, etc.

This won't happen with crytek. They said they do it on PC first THEN on consoles
