Well. I did it with my little board!

Ok guys. I know this was probably very dumb, unsafe, and a potential fire hazard..and I will get yelled at, lol....but...I wanted to see how far I could push this little chip on the voltages of this board without raising them.
I've discussed this board and its abilities with several of ya'll, and new that Prime95 was the way to go for pushing the OC.
I was also told by several that with the board being like it is, with aftermarket mosfet heatsinks I added and so forth that I was safe where my voltages were, but shouldn't push any higher than 1.5 or 1.55......last night I did it.....at 1.472. Which is where the voltages are set automatically by the board, and have been that way since I built the rig.

IN OTHER WORDS, I DID NOT ADJUST THE VOLTAGES UP. THIS IS WHERE THE BOARD HAS THEM AT ALL TIMES....

And it worked!

I've achieved 4.2ghz, on air, for over 11 hours running Prime!

System temps never got over 30c.

Core temps got a little warm, but never above 54, ( I understand the absolute limit is 62 for this chip, but this is on air, and I monitored it for several hours before I hit the sack)

CPU temps on Easytune6 made it to around 50-51, but no higher.

I stuck my hand in there and touched one of the sides of the mosfets, and the side of the heatsinks with my fingers, only slightly warm to the fingers in both cases. They weren't cooking by no means, lol.

Cooling was with my Hyper TX3.

This little 880g board has made me very happy, now...no more torturing it! HA.

62 is for the whole CPU, the cores should be ok till 77c i believe.

Enzo Enzotech MOS-C1 Copper MOSFET Cooler

And I'm going off the temps by Coretemp, CPU-Z, and Easytune6

Pretty confident in those temps.

wow. with a tx3 you only got up to 50-51c?i need to get a c3 chip and put my old cooler master with a push pull back on.
