[4.1] Rear Left speaker doesn't work

Thread Starter

I have Creative Inspire 4.1 4400 speakers that I found somewhere around my house xD

http://support.creative.com/Products...ctDetails.aspx

Problem is, the rear left speaker doesn't work at all. No sound, no nothing.
So I took our the wire of the RearLeft, and plugged it in RearRight, it worked perfectly so now I'm pretty sure it ain't the wire that causing the problem of if the speaker is defective.

I reinstalled the audio drivers from my mobo's manufacturer website (gigabyte... the mobo in my sig).

And it did no help at all.

I google'd about it, but it seems like not many people have the same issue... I'm suspecting that my main speaker (the bass) got something wrong in the Rear Left jack, so I'm debating whether to open it up and play with the wires (which I'm not very good at), or just leave it as it won't get fixed?

+ It's too old to ask the reseller for help :d.

Cheers,
Peeps.

It looks like your main speaker (the bass) got something wrong in the Rear Left jack, try to open it up and play with the wires.
